Let us be the BEST we have ever been as 2017 mighty men!

HIS WORD for TODAY

” As He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.  And a great storm developed on the sea so that the waves began to swamp the boat. But He was asleep.  So they came and woke Him up saying, “Lord, save us! We are about to die!” But He said to them, “Why are you cowardly, you people of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was dead calm.  And the men were amazed and said, “What sort of person is this? Even the winds and the sea obey Him!”  (Matthew 8. 23-27)

REFLECTIONS ON HIS WORD:

Mighty men, why should we be surprised what God can do?  Whether we are apprehensive, anxious, fearful or at peace it seems our minds have the most difficult time fathoming the measure of God’s power, mercy and grace.  As often as we may repeat the promise of John 3.16 “For God so loved the world that He gave to us His only begotten Son in order that eternal life might be realized by all those who would believe in Him.”  God “so” loved the world.  You know what “so” means in this context.  As children, we often responded to such questions as “how much do you love me” with stretched out arms and a strenuous “sooooooo much.”  Jesus loved us “so” much, even though we were not yet born, that He stretched out His arms on the cross and declared with His willing sacrifice “so much.”  What power of will and strength of faith it must have taken for God and Jesus to demonstrate such desire as to save each one of us from the legacy and finality of death without mercy and grace!  If God in Christ and through Christ can do such a thing then why do we wonder and marvel at what else they can do because of their faith, hope and love for us and in us and through us and our faith in them.  Remember, mighty men, it takes only the faith as small as a mustard seed on our part to affect the blessing of such mercy and grace into our lives.

Equally so, it only takes that same kind and level of faith to impact the world in which we live.  It should be no more surprising to us, mighty men, that this is the truth than for us to believe in the God who has saved us.  This is the God who created the universe, the world and the life upon this earth out of chaos and nothingness.  If He can order the chaos into the awesomeness we experience today then He can certainly continue to act for His glory and on our behalf for the sake of our life on earth and for eternal peace in Heaven yet to come.

And what of response to the movement and work of God toward us.  If we believe that Jesus was indeed the Christ and is Christ for us today then why do we marvel or question what else can be done?  It is not enough, mighty men, to be satisfied with our salvation.  Our salvation means nothing if we are not putting such faith as it takes to believe in Jesus the Christ into action!  Yes, as the Apostle Paul declared, “faith without works is dead.”  He did not teach that we needed works to be saved.  Rather, that because we are made new and actually improved then we, being akin to Christ who is the head of the Body- the Church and each of us members of that same body can do great things.  Jesus promised this to His disciples as He bestowed the blessing of the Holy Spirit upon them.  As they went out to preach the gospel and performed miracles bearing the Spirit as a cloak it should be no less moving when that same Spirit then became a part of the fabric of their lives at Pentecost.  It was no longer upon them.  It dwelt in them and they became as one just as Jesus was one with the Spirit as the Christ.

What does this say?  I believe it behooves us to center our attention upon whom we have become- ones in Christ.  We ought not center our attention upon ourselves in isolation in the world.  We are not alone.  Christ has made it possible for us to dwell as Immanuel- God with us.  With the power of God in us, around us and working through us we, too, can do great things.  It should not cause us to wonder or dwell forever in marvel.  It is meant to become our default reality as mighty men of God.  Practice the peace.  Practice the power.  Put into action the faith that has been given us so that God can be known personally to all those who are in our spheres of influence.

Let us be the BEST we have ever been as 2017 mighty men!

HIS WORD for TODAY:

1 John 4.4

“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome those whose spirit is of the world, because the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”

REFLECTIONS ON HIS WORD:

This is our rock solid claim to the future- that the One who is in us, Jesus Christ, is far greater than the one who is in the world, Satan. But we have invited Jesus into our heart, mind and soul and He has not turned down the invitation. He has made us to be as one with Him because His spirit is in us. That means our faith future started the day we asked Him to be Lord of our Lives. We do not need to wait until tomorrow because it became a part of our today. And for all those who are still looking for tomorrow when all things will be made right and can be made new their tomorrow can start today as well. Instead of pursuing the future, we need only to live it today.

How do we do that?

1. Walk by faith and not by sight. There is no falsehood in the Word and presence of God. We may not see what is coming next but we know the One who holds our future in His Hand. He has already provided for our needs and welfare beginning with our salvation and then our ministry.

2. Stay focused on God’s Word. His Word is the truth and that truth continues to set us free. In His Word we will find the instructions for a successful life, the means of living it out day by day and the promise of fulfillment which comes be walking in His Word as well as walking it out in the world.

3) We never believe we are alone. Jesus promised His disciples that as He was going to be with the Father the Holy Spirit would come to dwell among them. The Holy Spirit would work in them to help perfect and protect them. The Holy Spirit would work through them to accomplish the “greater things will you do than I have done.” Satan, on the other hand, wants to convince us that we are alienated and isolated beyond the reach of God. There is no place where God cannot reach us in this world. His Holy Spirit is our comforter, our guide and our promise.

Keep this truth alive in your heart, soul and mind, mighty men. Proclaim the day of the Lord today and always. As you do that then you will experience the abundance of life as God has purposed and promised.

“Let us be the best we have ever been as 2017 mighty men.”

Let us be the BEST we have ever been as 2017 mighty men!

HIS WORD for TODAY:

James 5.19-20

“My brothers and sisters, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring that person back, remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.”

REFLECTIONS ON HIS WORD:

We are all far from perfect but we are being perfected. The blessing of the Holy Spirit in our lives is that we have our own personal advocate who is working in us and through us for our good and God’s glory. Without the Holy Spirit we are powerless to effect eternal change. Yes, eternal change because Jesus died on the cross so that we might enjoy His life in us. He is eternal. His love for us is eternal. His love for us is eternal. We are being made into new creations by the same Spirit which brought about the creation of the world at God’s command. So, as mighty men filled with the Holy Spirit of God through Jesus Christ, we are to be engaged in helping one another be perfected in their faith on earth as it is in Heaven.

We all have sinned and fallen short. Many, if not all, still sin. We should not. We do. But, we are the righteousness of God and have the opportunity to return to God’s favor. Our conscience is quickened by the presence of the Holy Spirit. He is our advocate for seeking God’s continuing forgiveness. He is our helper in times of trouble. He is our comfort in times of need. He is our wisdom when we are struggling. He is our teacher when we forget what we have known. Letting the Holy Spirit be in control gives us the ability to do what we thought was impossible. And sharing this word with others can help them to make the change that is available to them as well. Just because we are Christ followers doesn’t mean we do not get off track. But, surrounded by the company of believers we do not have to stay offtrack. We must commit ourselves to the work of Christ who was sent to save God’s people and bring them back to where they belong- in the loving presence of our Eternal God.

“Let us be the best we have ever been as 2017 mighty men.”

Celebrating an Advent of LOVE on earth and goodwill to all people!

HIS WORD for TODAY:

James 2.26

“As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.”

REFLECTIONS ON HIS WORD:

I cannot help but wonder if James is not speaking of the Church, the Body of Christ, as he writes this part of his letter to the Church. There is so much to consider here. The physical body without the spirit of God in it is dead? Is it the spirit that causes us to breathe? If we do not breathe, then how can we live? If the Church does not have the spirit of God in Jesus Christ then it is nothing more than a gathering of people without a purpose that honors God. Yes, we can think of many groups that may exist apart from the Church. But, are they truly alive? What then is the measure of being alive? Is it simply being able to breathe? Heart beating? Brain sending and receiving signals? Arms, legs, hands, feet, fingers and toes moving?

James proposes that it is purposeful action which determines if a person is truly alive or not. Purposeful action that is committed to serving God and bringing glory to His Name. Without this purposeful action then we are merely going through the motions of being alive. But, being alive must be more than just deeds or works. Being alive must be fruitbearing! Faith is fruit bearing. The Church can be seen then as a forest or an orchard. And the trees which populate it are all fruit trees, fruit of the Spirit. If we are not being fruit, good fruit, then we are not truly alive- we are as good as dead. When Jesus observed the fig tree on the way into Jerusalem it gave the appearance of bearing fruit. It was a mirage of sorts because upon further inspection the tree bore only leaves. The fig tree was not long for this world. The next day the disciples found the tree dead to its core and dead to its root. What does this say about us, mighty men? Are we truly alive? Are we fruitbearing? Are we busy with the works of the kingdom which rise up out of a vibrant spirit rooted in faith in God?

It would seem that in the season of Advent love, we are called to bear in mind that which God has done for us. He has loved us, forgiven us, given us the life of His Son and the opportunity to dwell with Him forever in that heavenly orchard of spiritual fruitbearing trees.

“Let HIM be seen in the mighty men of 2016.”

HIS WORD for TODAY:

Psalm 63.7-8

“Because You are my help, I sing in the shadow of Your wings. I cling to You; Your right hand upholds me!”

REFLECTIONS ON HIS WORD:

There is no doubt in my mind that David was aware of the presence of God’s Holy Spirit. The “airborne” illustrations of God’s presence speak to the great desire of God to protect His children, His people, at all times. Yes, we need protection at all times in this world because the enemy of God and man still patrols the world waiting to turn people away from God and their salvation. So, in times of peace and prosperity we need protection. More likely protection from ourselves because in those times we are most vulnerable to being deceived. In times of trial and tribulation we may wonder why God is not helping or even holding Him accountable as if He doesn’t care. But, in those same times, more of us are truly tuned into the need for God in our lives. Yes, we will want His help right away, and it may not happen quickly, but He is a very present help in our time of trouble. So, when things seem to be going smoothly we may falsely take credit for the success or just become unaware of God’s providence and provision and live apathetically- or more likely, pathetically! So, God’s protection may be a reminder akin to Paul’s thorn in the flesh. We know how annoying that can be for ourselves. A splinter or sliver just under the skin may not irritate us until it is rubbed the wrong direction. But, go the other way and “wow” it certainly has our attention. That is like a protection because it pricks our consciousness not only to its presence but to the need to take care of the situation. Fortunately, that spiritual splinter is not so easily removed. It is a part of who we are in this world and serves a purpose to keep our lives focused on God’s presence at all times.

So, what does that have to do with the verses for today’s reflection? The Holy Spirit is that reminder for us. The presence of the Holy Spirit can be like the fluttering of wings (whether bird or insect) in our hearing. We do not have to see it to know what it is and that it is near to us. The wings could be of angels or a dove or a mighty eagle and speak to us of God’s constant presence in and near our lives. Wouldn’t it be awesome if the manna from Heaven was like the residue jet trail of angels hovering over the earth. The fluttering of their wings was the making of daily bread which could only come from God and Heaven above. David speaks of taking shelter in the wings of God. The comfort and protection there allows him to freely and deeply respond to God in song and praise. Even if God was soaring into the heights with David, or us, in the shadow of His wings we are securely held in His grasp. He has a hold on our lives. We have nothing to fear even when the enemy tries to wrestle us from God’s grasp. We are safe. We are covered. We are provisioned.

And as David hears these wings he is reminded of God’s love and promise. So, too, should we be reminded as His mighty men and sing for joy today that God by His Holy Spirit is covering us and keeping us held close to His heart.

“Let HIM be seen in the mighty men of 2016.”

HIS WORD for TODAY:

Psalm 121.1,2

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”

REFLECTIONS ON HIS WORD:

I heard Andrew Womack teach that we do not need to look up when we pray as if to see God nor to look down as if to appear humble. Rather we need to look inwardly because in Christ Jesus God is with us. I get that. But, there is something about looking up to God that says to me God is greater than I am and I look up to Him with respect and awe. There is something about keeping my head bowed knowing that sin has been defeated in my life and I have the promise of eternity but that there are still places of failure in my life which remind me I am a man and worthy only because of Christ. I do know that I need to look inwardly and call upon the Spirit of Christ to bear fruit in my life that is needed to sustain the life of righteousness I am called to live. It isn’t always easy. Sometimes I think it is rarely easy. But, it shouldn’t always be difficult and that leads me to more diligent prayer and walking by faith. In that I must continue to look up because I can’t always be down. I must remain humble because if not for Christ I would be totally fallen. I must be introspective because there is no future in living a facade life. Regardless of where I look, thankfully God is there.

He is here for each of us, mighty men. We must seek Him. He can be found. We must listen for Him. He is speaking. We must live out the truth. He has empowered us to do so in His Spirit.

“Let HIM be seen in the mighty men of 2016.”

HIS WORD for TODAY:

Psalm 119.71-72

“It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees. The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.”

REFLECTIONS ON HIS WORD:

More important, I am learning, to discern how valuable something is is to see how much time is spent instead of how much money. What are we willing to commit our lives to? Yes, we may spend lots of money on this but that would only mean we would include the time earning the money to spend on an activity into the equation. What do we spend the most time on and how does it truly impact the life we are called to live in Christ Jesus? Then, I am thinking and hearing from the Holy Spirit, I must consider the quality of time spent. Or, more importantly, what sacrificial time am I spending on this activity and how does it impact the life I am to live in Christ Jesus? I am convicted on this line of thinking and know I need to make adjustments in how I am spending my time and my reasoning for it. If God’s Word is more precious than thousands of pieces of silver and gold then it would seem I should spend more time in His Word. And I know that this isn’t only reading and studying God’s Word but living it, sharing it and planting its seed into the lives of others. Fortunately, we are never too old to learn something new. The older we get them more we must dedicate our efforts to change a pattern of thinking and behavior that has become a default in our lives. We cannot do it alone. We need the assistance of the Holy Spirit to help us with the discipline for change.

Lord, help me in putting first things first and keeping them there all the rest of my days.

“Let HIM be seen in the mighty men of 2016.”

PRAYER CONCERNS: (Needs of God’s mighty men that will be answered out of faith, hope and love)

HIS WORD for TODAY:

Luke 18.31-34

“Jesus took the Twelve aside and told them, ‘We are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled. He will be delivered over to the Gentiles. They will mock Him, insult Him and spit on Him; they will flog Him and kill Him. [And then] on the third day He will rise again.’ The disciples did not understand any of this. Its meaning was hidden from them, and they did not know what He was talking about.”

REFLECTIONS ON HIS WORD:

“Its meaning was hidden from them.” Sometimes things are so obvious that we simply do not see them. You have heard “it is as plain as the nose on your face” or “if it were a snake it would have bitten me.” When I was a kid we played hide and seek. My favorite hiding place was laying parallel to a parked bicycle. Being as still as possible, I was often overlooked. Eventually my friends caught on but if there was someone new playing, my friends knew where I would be hiding first off. We have benefited from the truth being made visible to us. Yet, it is also true that the truth remains hidden from us. Perhaps it isn’t so much that it is not visible to us but that we just don’t see it. This is why we must study God’s word and reflect on it together. No one, but God, can see and know everything. So, it takes all of us working together to gain the clearer picture of God’s will for life in this world- personally, corporately and eternally. Yes, that includes the Holy Spirit who is given to us as our teacher, guide and comforter. There is so much we would never know or understand if it were not for having the Holy Spirit on our team. Mighty men of God, build a strong team for seeking out the truth in God’s Word and remain accountable for that search- it will benefit you and others.

“Let HIM be seen in the mighty men of 2016.”

PRAYER CONCERNS: (Needs of God’s mighty men that will be answered out of faith, hope and love)

* For those in Aleppo who were attacked during a funeral for children whose lives were lost in an earlier bombing
* For healing, recovery and comfort for those who have lost lives, family, homes, businesses and a positive sense of the future due to the devastating earthquakes in Myanmar and in Italy; and to those who will be rendering aide
* For those whose burden in life creates such desperation that taking the life of another as a means of escape and problem-solving seems reasonable and for their victims that they may have peace; as seen in the sex-trafficking slavery business of young girls
* For family and friends battling cancer and dementia at all stages of life and those seeking to be their caregivers and those who are their families
* For wisdom among the world’s leaders as wars and rumors of wars rise up; earthquakes, floods, great winds and fire abound; and civil unrest reaches out across all secular and non-secular lines and to lead God’s people into the truth concerning judgment, the end of days and Jesus’ return for we are moving closer to it each day.
* For those who are seeking to put an end to human trafficking that their success would be overwhelming so that the healing may be equally so
* For Louisville, Kentuckiana, Goodwill, NECC and the people of the Burkina Faso
* For the needs of my family near and far and our friends healing, reconciliation and wisdom; for a new job placement that aligns with God’s purpose intended for me; for needs of my family now that far exceed our ability to handle on our own and comfort to our parents who are committed to their new realities; wisdom to know truth and relate it adequately; for guidance in a difficult financial situation

PRAYER CELEBRATIONS (where we see Him at work in the world):

* Got to meet new friends at church and an opportunity to serve
* God continues to provide prosperity at 5226 as I trust Him in so doing and give thanks praying for sufficient and proficient employees and the wisdom to meld a team spirit by staying humble before God and co-workers
* God is preparing me for our next ministry with current conditions to learn to walk more humbly
* God is good all the time and all the time God is good- even when we cannot see it!

ABIDING IN PRAYER: Father, let us have eyes to see Your truth; not only ours but those who are walking by faith as well through Jesus our Savior, in whose name we pray, live and serve. AMEN.

INDEPENDENCE DAY, July 4, 2016

HIS WORD for TODAY:

Colossians 1.9b-10

“We have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God.”

REFLECTIONS ON HIS WORD:

If we want to know peace, then we must sow peace. This means we must first be at peace with ourselves and with God. Thanks be for Jesus Christ who is the Prince of Peace and has, by His life and death and resurrection obedience, declared that peace can be had. We must believe in God’s desire for there to be peace. We must humble ourselves in the knowledge that without a right relationship with God there can never be peace. We must embrace peace in our own lives including the seeking of forgiveness when we fall back into chaos.

When God created the heavens and the earth, He did so by declaring peace. This was done by sending His Holy Spirit to hover over the face of the darkness and chaos and bringing to light the glory of God in the midst of it. When Jesus taught “the Kingdom of God is in the midst of you” He was speaking of restoring peace into our lives of chaos. Sin fractures and separates our many parts- physical, psychological, mental, emotion, social and spiritual. How can we be at peace when we are falling into pieces? God, however, by His grace expressed in the presence of the Holy Spirit, begins to pull the pieces of our lives back together again. He connects them with the mortar of love. He establishes them on the foundation of truth which is His Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ. He causes His Holy Spirit to cover over us and bring to light the glory of God in our midst. And when we understand our relationship with God is reconciled, restored and reconstructed then we shall know peace.

Further, just as we are becoming one with the Father we are becoming one with the Son. Joined together and knitted into the full fabric of the body of Christ, the Church, we then thrive on the Holy Spirit’s presence and our peace grows. The peace that is within is then sown into the world in which we live and nurtured by the same Spirit grows into other pieces of this glory picture and brought in. When we feel that we are not at peace it may be that inner awareness that something, more like someone, is missing. Just as the good shepherd went to find the one and, whether dead or alive, finding it brings it back to know peace.

I believe this nation needs to humble itself before God. The Good Shepherd has come. Through the forgiveness of our sins He has given us peace. But, now it is time to claim that peace by truly becoming one with the Father and fulfilling the calling in each of us to do His Will on earth as it is being done in Heaven. It cannot happen, mighty men, until we are all praying for peace. Not peace as the world gives peace but authentic peace as Jesus declared and the Holy Spirit proclaims.

“Let HIM be seen in the mighty men of 2016.”

PRAYER CONCERNS: (Needs of God’s mighty men that will be answered out of faith, hope and love)

* For the healing of this nation which has taken its liberties, gifts, talents and resources and made them a license for immorality, poor judgment and threat against authentic peace for all people
* For Turkey, Baghdad and Bangladesh following terrorists attacks with the loss of life, peace and security for victims, families, community and visitors
* For those whose burden in life creates such desperation that taking the life of another as a means of escape and problem-solving seems reasonable and for their victims that they may have peace; as seen in the sex-trafficking slavery business of young girls
* Spiritual-based and not political-based decisions on the world’s economy coming into question and the UK vote to secede from the European Union
* Blessings of peace, joy and reconciliation as God purposes for all our families
* For God’s definitive word on this country’s political agenda and future being transformed into a godly mandate that glorifies God and meets the needs of others instead of man’s agenda leading to the Abomination of Desolation
* For the end of the ISIS regime and replacing it with the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ into all the nations of the earth
* For the homeless, especially now as summer heat and drought bring searing temperatures
* For those who are seeking to put an end to human trafficking that their success would be overwhelming so that the healing may be equally so
* For Louisville, Kentuckiana, Goodwill, NECC and the people of Uruguay
* For the needs of my family near and far and our friends healing, reconciliation and wisdom; for a new job placement that aligns with God’s purpose intended for me; for needs of my family now that far exceed our ability to handle on our own and comfort to our parents who are committed to their new realities; wisdom to know truth and relate it adequately; for guidance in a difficult financial situation

PRAYER CELEBRATIONS (where we see Him at work in the world):

* God continues to provide prosperity at 5226 as I trust Him in so doing and give thanks praying for sufficient and proficient employees; but a new job is coming as I seek His will and not my own being humbled in what I still need to learn as I wait for His unveiling
* Continuing to survive challenges placed before us at work knowing God has something more in store for us for His glory; abundant harvest now ready to receive the harvesters
* God is preparing me for our next ministry with current conditions
* God is good all the time and all the time God is good- even when we cannot see it!

ABIDING IN PRAYER: Father, may the peace which has already been given to the world in the name of Jesus our Christ be received and put into action as we love one another before God and all the world. Let the awakening come, dear Lord, in this nation so that it may be a leader of righteousness and truth on the earth and turn all eyes to Jesus and declare with one voice He is Lord of Lords and King of Kings. This is our true cry of liberty in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

HIS WORD for TODAY:

Mark 13.9-11

“You must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues. On account of Me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them. And the gospel must first be preached to all nations. Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.”

REFLECTIONS ON HIS WORD:

When Jesus met with His disciples in the upper room before His arrest, He told them a comforter and guide would be sent to them. That comforter was none other than the Holy Spirit. The presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives is meant to instruct us in what has been taught to us according to the gospel- most of all to trust God in all things. As Jesus prepared His disciples for life on the other side of the cross, He issued a warning to them of troubled times when their very lives would be at stake. And why would this be? Because Satan sincerely hates the truth of God’s love, forgiveness and reconciliation. He despises that Jesus remains at the right hand of God and intercedes on behalf of all believers whether they stay the course of righteousness or wander off the path. So, in this world Satan attacks God’s people. He especially wants to silence those who point out the truth about Jesus, who He is and what He does. Satan will use all worldly authorities to hinder the effort of keeping God’s truth before all the world. Jesus says this is our purpose- “to preach the gospel to all nations.”

When the world is captured in tragedy, whether natural or man-made or Satan-inspired, the faithful men of God must not shrink back. They must step forward and let the truth be known in and through their lives. The Holy Spirit will help us discern the truth in these situations and lead us in right paths to bring help and comfort and wisdom to those who are in need. Remember, our future is already established as eternal in the heavens. Our purpose is to celebrate that promise on earth by living Christ-like lives. There are many who do not know this satisfaction and comfort. There are many who are not aware that God’s covenant of salvation belongs to them as well. It should be our desire in good times and in troubled times, especially in troubled times, to see that no one is ignorant of the love of God and His promise to love them out of death and into life. Heed the warning of these days. They are small signals of the larger event yet to come. Build confidence in others as the Holy Spirit is building it in you so that when calamity comes- peace will reign supreme.

“Let HIM be seen in the mighty men of 2016.”

PRAYER CONCERNS: (Needs of God’s mighty men that will be answered out of faith, hope and love)

PRAYER CELEBRATIONS (where we see Him at work in the world):

* A positive opportunity has presented itself to Lisa but as in all things it is by God’s timing to know more and we wait in celebration of His provision
* A work expectation is being met and only by the power of God is it being achieved; I am believing for a new work assignment for my wife and I that will serve God’s people well; what others mean for harm God is turning to good
* Continuing to survive challenges placed before us at work knowing God has something more in store for us for His glory; abundant harvest now ready to receive the harvesters
* God is preparing us for our next ministry with current conditions
* God is good all the time and all the time God is good- even when we cannot see it!

ABIDING IN PRAYER: Father, pour out Your Spirit on us so that our witness may be a guiding light to the hope and satisfaction we can have in the name of Jesus by whom we live, serve and pray. AMEN.
